Doctors urged to counsel patients on weight loss

WASHINGTON - Ralph Loglisci 36, remembers being overweight and on diets since he was very young.
As an adult, weighing 400 pounds and having health complications such as high blood pressure, back pain and severe depression, he decided to change his life.
Now, having lost 185 pounds through an exercise program put together by his doctor, he says the exercise prescription changed his life. "Its not just about weight loss, I am a much healthier person," Loglisci said.
