BOSTON - For Barbara Canales Black a no-CARB diet doesn't mean no meat. It means no Cheney, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld or Bush.
Canales Black, 37, a first-time delegate, attended a no-CARB event Monday on the first day of the Democratic National Convention. The Corpus Christi attorney said she plans to spend her time in Boston wisely.
“I'm not here to sightsee. I'm not here to tour. I'm here to work,” Canales Black said.
Canales Black said many Texans think it's time for a change.
“The issues John Kerry represents are our issues,” she said.
