A slice of the political cake for Kenya too?

Kenyans in the United States view Sen. Barack Obama's presidential candidacy as a boost for the country. Many of them hope that, once in office, he would be able to put Kenya on the world's map.

From the chants "Obama ni wetu" (Obama is ours) in 2006 when he visited Kenya, to chain e-mails asking for support for "our son" in the U.S, it is clear that Kenyans identify him as one of their own.
