The Cookie Lady and helpers

Germaine Broussard, left, joins campers who helped prepare gifts for soldiers and two of her Battle Buddy teddy bears. She has baked more than 50,000 cookies for members of the military stationed overseas. In addition, she has sent six Battle Buddies, dressed in camouflage, to service members who photograph the bears taking part in their duties.
