Packing Boxes

No debates, no hearings, no members of Congress, but Capitol Hill is still a busy on election day, as staff members use the recess to prepare for the post-election session that begins next week and the 110^th Congress that begins in January.

Rose Ann Maldonado and Yadira Castellanos, both on the staff of Rep. Charles Gonzalez, D-Texas, pack congressional files into boxes to be moved into permanent storage. Working in the Cannon Office Building, they've filled about 80 boxes over the last few weeks in preparation for the next congressional term.
